Making Adopted Village Digital

In today’s world more & more people are drawn towards science and technology. Due to latest technology everything is possible on one click. It is the need of the day to make the rural villages digital Mr. Sandeep Kote-Patil, an Engineer from Ahmednagar has developed a concept called ‘Digital Gaon’. Through this concept, the honor of being first ever Digital village went to Sukewadi, Ahmednagar.

Our NSS volunteers have put efforts to make the adopted village Masle-Belpada, a digital village with the help of Mr. Kote-Patil. The other departments of college also supported the NSS department to collect the basic information regarding the village. After making of this village into a digital one, all the information is going to be available online. This gave a wholesome environment to trade in the village. Also there is a lot of bio-diversity in Belpada. Barvi dam can prone to be a good place for forest observation & hence researchers can visit it. Through this medium, it can also prone to be a famous tourist place. Also, there are a lot of products or crops that aretaken through various techniques in this village. Making a village digital can help that village to create a good market for their products. This will bring unity and harmony in the village.

So the concept of making of village digital is playing a significant role in our adopted village Masle-Belpada. Our NSS department received a lot of support from local villagers, institutions, colleges etc. There is a website called maslebelpada.com that has been made.
